Tatone

Every family in Abruzzo has its own ‘tatone’. A familiar and affectionate nickname for grandfather, ‘tatone’ is actually a fundamental figure in the traditional family hierarchy, whose age and maturity confer authority, prestige and wisdom.

Our Tatone is so: a mature and complex Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, to which the long aging – in large Slavonian oak barrels and then in the bottle – gives balance and elegance. It has aromas of fruit and spices and an excellent structure, accompanied by a lingering finish.

It is a complex yet genuine wine, like all ‘tatone’  closely linked to its traditions and its land: we cultivate this land of Abruzzo with love and respect, growing grapes with the knowledge of generations of vine-dressers, using cutting-edge technologies to protect and enhance its qualities.
